More and more, companies depend on information technology for the management of their business. Book-keeping, staff and payrolls, providers and clients are increasingly documented and managed with computer tools. The connection to Internet increases the facilities of and the need for the use of computer tools, not only of general queries and anonymous searching, but also its professional use in the management of state, autonomous and municipal taxes, contributions to the General Health Service, transactions with banks and insurers, etc.
Although many companies count on agencies for their administration and formalities, the direct dependence on information technology increases. At the same time, the indirect dependence, i.e. the dependence of the information technology on the agency, can also affect the company. This dependence causes computer security to be a necessity, which this section pretends to help controlling.
